| You know what bugs me? Stealing. I saw a lot of that shit today...and I'm tired of people who steal whatever the circumstances may be (no let's not get into an argument of whether you would steal in a life or death situation! haha if you know what I mean as Hollywood portrays it).
It's 330am, and today (or yesterday I suppose as of now) was just one of those days you can't help but sit there and think about.
Situation 1 So I went with my awesomely cool friend Ngoc to Broddard to eat some Nem Nuong (Vietnamese rolls). Upon leaving the restaurant, I was responsible enough to leave my cell phone, cell phone holder, and my bluetooth headset on the table. I drove Ngoc home and realized that I forgot all my stuff at the restaurant. We called the cell phone and of course the phone is turned off...Something was wrong.
I came back to the restaurant in a jippy despite 5pm traffic and asked one of the workers about my misplaced items. He told me that one of the other workers turned in a bluetooth headset but there was no phone. Let's see here, why the efff in hell would there be a bluetooth headset with no phone unless some jackass or janeass took it (I just wanted to be gender-unbiased as possible if that's a word).
This guy was a nice and genuine guy (i'm serious this time) though and he made sure to ask each one of his co-workers who didn't have any idea of seeing a phone. He was nice enough to go out of his way to search around the restaurant with me and I really appreciated that. A lady who sat in the table behind me while we were eating stood up b/c she heard the commotion I caused and she said that she had seen my phone on the ground and had asked one of the workers to pick it up. AHA! Then, the finger pointing occurs. The lady said that the guy who served her table picked the phone up. The workers started questioning themselves until....THAT FUCKER who I did not get to see comes out to his car to pick up my damn cell phone in the pouch and gives it to the genuine guy that was helping me out to give to me. All the while the workers were trying to quell the situation b/c I was one angry dude. I thanked the lady and I thanked the genuine guy and left out to my car, angered but happy. I asked the genuine guy if one of the workers had taken the phone and he said that one of the guys confessed, but that he wasn't going to give me the name of the guy because the guy was sorry and didn't want his job to be in jeopardy. You know, I forgave the worker guy who stole my phone, but I just wished he had the decency to tell me sorry and step up to his mistake.
Situation 2 Tonight after watching Fantastic Four part 2 at the Block, I decided to continue my running routine that I've been keeping up for 3 days (yay for me!) at 24 hour fitness. After the workout, I went to 7-11 for some gatorade and some hot dogs (cold but whatever it was great), when this strange looking guy comes walking in. I know one isn't supposed to judge based on first glance, but the dude looked suspicious. He was about to steal some shit in the back when the store clerk yelled at him. The stealer guy walked out of the 7-11, came back in saying some words, and walked back out.
All my life, I really haven't seen stealing occur around me, although I know it happens all the time. However, today was definitely a shocker because I'm a guy who sees good in people. When I saw the bad shit today, I realized that a lot of people don't have their priorities straight because of one reason or another that leads to certain bad habits like stealing. It makes me sad, but I'm glad that everything worked out in the end. I'm at a disbelief when a worker at a large restaurant decides to steal my belongings. I would actually be more okay with a customer taking my shit than the damn worker. I hope the guy lives with his conscience cause I sure damn hell can't have his conscience and sleep at night. I hope he changes though and makes good. The lady and the genuine worker guy really helped me out. As for me, I learned a really important lesson- good things happen when you do good things. The process of life's reciprocation. Yeah that guy took my phone, but I was helped by good people who went beyond their way. I think that karma had its hand in my situation. I'm just going to live my life the best way that I know how-- with integrity. Something some people will never know about in their lifetimes.

I LOVE MUSIC, I LOVE SINGING (even when I might suck at it!), I LOVE MUSICALS, I LOVE LYRICS, and I LOVE ........
how music can really touch one's soul to the point where songs remind one about a loved one, a friend, or someone that has left an imprint in their life. This beauty in music far surpasses any comparable word, phrase, or expression; it transcends across minds, hearts, and souls.

| So instead of doing work, I looked back on my previous journal entries from 4 years ago. I can't believe my first post was around April of 2003. So much has happened that I totally forgot about, and it was really sweet to be able to live those moments through my entries.
I can't believe how mushy and how hyper I was in my first entries, but it was really nice to see my progression through the years! I wonder how i'll be like in four years. I hope that I can only mature as a person, yet keep my childish nature for the rest of my life.
Alright, back to work!

| No one said life was easy. They just forgot to mention how much hurt goes on. Lots of things on my mind lately..good and bad. I try and be as good of a guy as I can, yet, at times..it seems like it's not enough.
